    <summary type="html"><![CDATA[    <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>What is The Hindsight Factor?</strong> </p>  <p class="MsoNormal">The Hindsight Factor has been in operation since the summer of 2002.<span>  </span>It is primarily a U.S.-centric blog but from a totally international perspective, solid left-wing progressive values but with open arms to all enlightened souls, positive - Positive - POSITIVE vibes but with eyes wide open to the harsh reality, and a chill intellectual coffeeshop atmosphere but with unpretentious and accessible conversation. </p>  <p>Basically, hippie-guy with a Ph.D.</p>    <p class="MsoNormal">The site was redesigned in May of 2006 after a 1-year educational and travel hiatus</p><p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p><div style="text-align: center"><img class="inline" src="http://myspace-337.vo.llnwd.net/00965/73/35/965045337_l.jpg" border="0" alt=" " width="232" height="295" /></div><p>&#160;</p>    <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Who is Jay Daverth?</strong> </p>    <p class="MsoNormal">I am an expatriate American living in Dublin where I am completing a Ph.D. in International Peace Studies.<span>  </span>My focus is primarily on global security with an emphasis on network security threats (terrorism in the common vernacular).<span>  </span>When I&#39;m not writing, I am on an ongoing quest to experience as much of the world as possible.<span>  </span>So far, I have visited over 30 countries in 4 continents and do not plan to rest until I&#39;ve seen all the rest.<span>  </span>Twice. </p>      <p class="MsoNormal">My last U.S. residency was in Austin, Texas.<span>  </span>Easily the best little city in this world or any other.<span>  </span>Since leaving, I&#39;ve been stuck without any decent tortillas and queso for nearly six years.<span>  </span>Please help me!</p><p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>    <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>How to contact me:</strong> </p>    <p class="MsoNormal">I do not leave my email address directly as I receive far too much spam as it is.<span>  </span>And for some reason, my viewers feel obligated to subscribe me to every listserv imaginable.<span>  </span>I can be reached via the site&#39;s <a href="/feedback">contact</a> function. </p>    <p class="MsoNormal">I enjoy reading your emails and endeavor to reply to as many as possible.<span>  </span>Please don&#39;t feel insulted if it may take a few days.<span>  </span>I do have to earn a living (since blogging don&#39;t pay my considerable sushi bills like it youst&#39;a).</p>      ]]></summary>
